Acute and chronic tests were performed with PAM 25 and its effect on both vertebrate and invertebrate organisms.  The results clear;y showed that PAM25 is non toxic to these forms of aquatic life

Toxicolgy studies were performed at U of California, Berkeley labs on PAM 25 using Ceriophnia dubia and flat head minnows as well as various plant specimens.   The results confirmed that PAM 25 exhibits very little if any toxicity and is suitable for use with food plants.

Use of PAM  increased furrow infiltration into clay soils by 30% to 57% during water inflow.  (Lentz, et al, 1992) 

An inital small amount of PAM to irrigation water eliminated furrow sediment loss on silt loam soils. (Soyka & Lentz 1993)
